Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

This project is an Eskom Greenfield Electrification Project. The village Mareetsane Zones 2,7 & 8 falls under Stella CNC and under the Tswaing Local Municipality. It is part of the 2022/2023 Electrification Plan. The village zones consists of 166 new stands and 100% of them are occupied. The houses are of brick and Tin type. The village has no other services installed and with electricity to be installed by Eskom. The aim of this project is the electrification of 166 new stands at Mareetsane Zones 2,7 & 8. Electrical reticulation, i.e. conductor network, will be provided which can deliver 1.02kVA per stand.

Expanded_Motivation: 

The supply to the village section shall be from the existing Batho-Batho 22kV MV feeder supplied from Mareetsane Substation, by T-offing at MBAT 151-8, MBAT 154- 6, MBAT 186-26-14-8 and between MBAT 186-41-6 & 7 with 3ph Fox overhead lines. The internal infrastructure shall consist of MV 3-phase overhead comprising Fox ACSR conductor supported on 11m wooden poles and LV comprising 35mm² and 70mm² ABCs with bare neutral supported on 7m wooden poles. Pole mounted transformers of SANS780 type, 100kVA, 50kVA & 32kVA shall be used. MV and LV infrastructure shall run street-front. The house connections shall be overhead with 6mm² Tinned CU Steel concentric cable. Meters shall be of prepayment smart type, with Energy Management Unit (EMU) installed inside the pole-top box, the Customer Interface Unit (CIU) handed over to the customer and the ready-board installed inside dwellings. Blanket 20A connections shall be made.
