Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

The project has 2 components : 1) Chloorkop Royal Beechnut The identified scope entails installing new gravity: 355mm diameter pipelines.. The proposed gravity sewer mains will cater for the Chloorkop sewer drainage sub-catchments that are serviced by the station. The line will eliminate two sewer pump stations: Chloorkop PS and Royal Beachnut PS. The following is a brief summary of the works required for the installation of the new 355mm main gravity sewer : o Excavate, supply, lay, bed, backfill ± 4200m of 355 mm diameter HDPE sewer pipe; o Construction of ± 46 No. of 1250-1500mm diameter pre-cast concrete sewer manholes; o 1 watercourse crossing o Tie-in the existing Johannesburg Water’s sewer line o Measurement station for inflows coming from CoE proposed line o Decommissioning of two existing station with the ancillary infrastructure(this includes the Royal Beechnut PS 2) Chloorkop X24/Bundu Pumpstation The proposed gravity sewer mains will cater for the Chloorkop x24 sewer drainage sub-catchments that are serviced by the station. The line will also eliminate sewer pump station. The proposed line will be connected to an existing Johaneburg Water’s Sewer line. The majority of the pipeline will be in the jurisdiction of City of Johannesburg. Installation of the new 355mm Gravity Main Sewer will entail : o Excavate, supply, lay, bed, backfill ± 4600m of 355 mm diameter HDPE sewer pipe; o Construction of ± 50 No. of 1250-1500mm diameter pre-cast concrete sewer manholes; o 1 watercourse crossing o Tie-in the existing Johannesburg Water’s sewer line o Measurement station for inflows coming from CoE proposed line o Decommissioning of the existing station with the ancillary infrastructure
