Development Type:

ProposalDescription:

ZEVOSAT (PTY) LTD IS APPLYING FOR PROSPECTING RIGHTS FOR COAL ON REMAINING EXTENT OF HAZELDEEN 3311 GT, PORTION 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 OF HAZELDEEN 12649 GT, REMAINING EXTENT OF HESOMDALE 5129 GT, PORTION 1 AND 2 OF RAEMOIR 1 6504 GT AND THE REMAINING EXTENT OF RAEMOIR A 6942 GT. (KZN 30/5/1/1/2/ 10862 PR)

Expanded_Motivation:

Prospecting is the first stage of the geological analysis in search for mineral deposits such as coal, especially by drilling. Drilling rig machines are used to create a small hole in the earths subsurface. Before the Coal can be established, a number of tests and surveys must be conducted to ensure that the project is economically viable, technically feasible, and environmentally sound. Although prospecting activities are not labour intensive, few people will be hired to assist with general activities. The services required can also be sourced locally depending on their availability thus growing the economy of the area.
