Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

The proposed development on two sites namely Umkomanzi Drift 1 located on Portion 200(2) of the farm Umkomanzi Drift No. 1357 and Erf 1691, and Umkomanzi Drift 2 located on Portion 126 of Part 16 Umkomanzi Drift No. 1357 and Remainder of Portion 16 Umkomanzi Drift No. 1357 is to provide 1000 residential sites across two sites of approximately 35.9899 hectares (ha) of land, which will consist of free standing, single dwelling units per plot. The project also aims to cater for non-residential sites within the study area.

The proposed housing development in Craigieburn is to provide 1000 residential sites across two sites of approximately 35.9899 hectares (ha) of land, which will consist of free standing, single dwelling units per plot. The project also aims to cater for non-residential sites within the study area. There are two sites, namely Umkomanzi Drift 1 and Umkomanzi Drift 2. The total hectarage of the two sites is approximately 35.9899 ha (359899m²).
