ProposalDescription:

The Project Area (Van Oudshoornstroom 261IT Ptn 34, 52, 53, RE 61, 78) is situated just east of Ermelo, Mpumalanga. The Estate of Late Mr de Jager is not only the surface right holder but also the current holder of the Prospecting Right (Ref: MP 30/5/1/1/2/394 PR expiring on 2019/07/21) for coal on the above said portions. Originally, Ptn 78 of the farm Van Oudshoornstroom 261IT was not part of the project area but a S102 Prospecting Right amendment was lodged historically and since the Estate Late of Mr de Jager is also the surface rights owner of this property, it has been decided to include this portion in the application for a Mining Right as the coal resource also extends over this area and has therefore also been included in the geological competent persons report and mine planning.
