Case Type:

ProposalDescription:

We seek a temporary export permit for: (a) a selection of additional lithic material from Area I, as well as (b) the 2011-2016 faunal and (c) 2011-2016 lithic samples from Areas III, IV, and V (Table 1). Due to constraints imposed by COVID it is not currently possible for the principal analysts to study this material in South Africa. Shipping to the dedicated analytic facilities at UC Davis (fauna) and U Wollongong (lithics) will enable a full range of non-destructive analyses and documentation to be carried out.
