Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

To whom it may concern: Please note that we initially submitted a Heritage NID to HWC on the 21st of February 2013. HWC informed SRK on the 25th of March 2013 that an application must be made to SAHRA as portions of the site lie below the high water mark. Troy Smuts from HWC has forwarded all documentation to SAHRA. Please either contact Sharon Jones or Matthew Law at 021 659 3088 for any further information. We look forward to comment from SAHRA.
