Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The Site 1..5 Colonial Period Farmstead comprises of a heritage site as defined and protected. The site is ascribed a SAHRA MEDIUM SIGNIFICANCE and a GENERALLY PROTECTED B FIELD RATING.. Site components are situated both north and south of the
access road demarcating the northern boundary of the Eastern Cluster study site.. None of the
components parts of the site will be negatively impacted on by development.. Existing conservation
measures comply directly with SAHRA Minimum Site Conservation Standards.
