Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

It is proposed that a construction of a 10ML storage reservoir and erection of a 300KL elevated steel tank is undertaken, of which the construction of a bulk water reticulation mains, will be as follows:  Supply and lay steel pipe ranging from 20mm diameter to 250mm in diameter, including bedding and backfill with selected material; supply and lay HDPE pipe; supply and lay PVC pipe.  The supply and installation of isolation valves along reticulation and secondary bulk mains.  The supply and installation of scour valves, at the low points of the complete pipeline network.  The supply and installation of air valves.  Supply and install fire hydrants at schools and clinics.  Supply loggable zonal meters and yard connection meters for every household

Expanded_Motivation: 

Expand the availability of formal housing in the area as a sustainable supply of potable water able to meet the growing water requirements .
