Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred onĀ Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The socio-historical collection of the Genadendal Mission Museum, consisting of the contents of the reception room, the introduction room, the printing works, the mission parlour, the mission office, the occasional exhibit room, the mission bedroom, the music room, the office, the work room, the chemist and shop, the classroom, the joinery and smithy, including all the furniture, implements, tools, instruments, paintings, books, etc. which are housed in the main building (Herrnut House) and the annex (Kuhnel House), as well as the enclosed backyard.
An inventory of all objects have been lodged at the offices of the above-mentioned Mission Museum and the National Monuments Council at 127 Bree Street, Cape Town.
