Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Gerrit van Niekerk Viljoen, Minister of National Education, hereby declare the property with the nine historical fishermen's cottages thereon, at Hotagterklip, District of Bredasdorp. to be a national monument.

The property with the nine. fishermen's cottages thereon, namely- (a) certain abolished quitrent land. situate in the Local Area of St ruisbaai. Division of Bredasdorp, being Erf 1 400. Portion of Erf 922, Struisbaai, and measuring eight thousand nine hundred and ninety (8990) square metres; and (b) certain partly redeemed and partly abolished quitrent land, situate in the Local Area of Struisbaai, Division of Bredasdorp, being Erf 1401, Portion of Erf 922, Struisbaai, and measuring eight thou sand and fifty-three (8 053) square metres.
