Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

By virtue of the powers vested in me by section 8 (1) (a) of the Natural and Historical Monuments, Relics and Antiques Act (Act No.4 of 1934), I hereby proclaim a piece of land, with the buildings thereon, being the Rectory and Hall of the Church of the Province of South Africa, Bredasdorp, to be a monument.

The piece of land, with the buildings thereon, situate at the corner of Independent and Dirkie Uys Streets, measuring 100 feet by 100 feet, being a portion of certain piece of land situate at Bredasdorp in the Division of Swellendam, being part of the land marked La M (now known as Erf No. 707, Bredasdorp), measuring 143 square roods 8 square feet. (Diagram No. 605/1847 as filed with Deed of Transfer No. 55/1856, dated 4th April, 1856.)
