ProposalDescription:

3-person team for video, stills, and written reporting at Swartkrans to educate public about work our professor Travis Pickering is doing at the site.

Expanded_Motivation:

Our Swartkrans plan is mostly focused on the field study program our professor Travis Pickering leads for some of our undergraduate students. Goal is to show how unique of an experience this is for our students, and to show what kind of discoveries have been made at this site. Might also include some comments from Witwatersrand professor Ron Clarke, if schedules allow for this. All recording and final products will be approved by Wits/Wisconsin professors involved in the productions. Marion Bamford at Wits has granted approval for us to record on the site (attached). Note: Marion's email grants permission for Swartkrans, and the other two approvals she mentions (from Lee Berger and Dominic Stratford both at Wits) have been obtained separately and uploaded to my two other permit applications for each site. Also, the proof of payment from our accounting office included all three fees added together for R1500.
