ProposalDescription:

Repairs and alterations and additions to existing buildings 1, and internal Alterations to buildings 2 and 3 on a property which is or which may reasonably be expected to be 60 yrs old, on Portion 6 of 1 of erf 3201 of Durban, 16 Peter Mokaba Road, Berea, durban, Ethekwini, KwaZulu Natal. Drawing no: 6247/14

Expanded_Motivation:

The existing property is zoned General Residential and is a long way down the line been rezoned to General Business to accommodate our proposal. The reason for building operations taking place is due to a fire to the main building which severely damaged the roof and also caused structural damage. Precautions have been taken under the advice of an Engineer to do remedial work so that the existing structure will be structurally stable. In performing these alterations, every effort has been made to retain the architectural feature of the original building and at the same time to compliment the other 2 buildings on site which are fairly modern, built within the last 10 years. This property is on the corner of 2 major roads therefore the buildings will be well kept and an advertisement for our new training centre. We herewith attach photos of the building in its current state and also a motivation from the owner with photos explaining his urgency for continuing with the work.
