ProposalDescription:

Proposal deals with demolition of small outbuilding in back garden of which is in bad shape. A new ancillary unit will replace this with a new swimming pool and landscaping. The roof at the rear of the house is to be extended to create a covered verandah. Roof tiles to match the existing. All efforts have been taken to be respectful to the original architecture. This is to take place at 154 Evans Road, ERF 7775 Durban, Ethekwini, KwaZulu-Natal. Please see the following drawings for reference 19001-0-0-LA-1000-001_REVISION A 19001-0-0-LA-1000-002_REVISION A 19001-0-0-LA-1000-003_REVISION A A design brochure has also been included to give one an idea of the intended approach.

Expanded_Motivation:

Dear Amafa The owner of the house intends to make alterations to the house as listed in the proposal description. The existing house is to be left as it stands and the outbuilding that requires demolition holds no historical significance and does not provide for a comfortable living environment. We do believe that the proposal will add value to both the owners living conditions as well as the surrounding built environment.
