ProposalDescription:

Demolition of fire damaged building and proposed replacement building at 569 Jabu Ndlovu street, Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu Natal Drawings

Expanded_Motivation:

The fire damaged structures are unstable and are presently offering haven for criminals, the owner requests permission to clear the site, retaining salvagable material for reconstruction. New shops are proposed with the corner veranda and entrance reconstructed to match the original. The buildings prior to the fire were a combination of buildings that had been added to (see attached approved plans). They were built to the street boundary. The replacement building is under one roof and allows for parking and a yard space (see attached proposal). The street facing facade is a parapet wall that matches the original corner parapet height. Doric columns will be reused and copied where necessary.
