Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

Basic Assessment (BA) for the proposed Eastbury Drive Trunk Sewer Pipe Upgrade, Mount Edgecombe, Ethekwini Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal. The pipe proposed to be replaced is located at Erf 607 of the Farm Mount Edgecombe No. 0217 and Portion 359 (of 358) of the Farm LOT 22 No.1543 within the Mount Edgecombe Old Mill Industrial Park. The project entails replacing an existing 150m long, 300mm diameter sewer pipe with a 450mm diameter pipe in order to accommodate a projected increase in flow volume. The current pipe has a capacity of 18.1Litres/sec while the total flow expected will be 41.2 Litres/sec.
