Case Type:

ProposalDescription:

WE ARE PROPOSING TO RAISE THE EXISTING LOW BOUNDARY WALL TO APPROX. 2.4M THE EXISTING FACE BRICK PLINTH WILL REMAIN WITH NEW PLASTER AND PAINT PIERS AND A PLASTER AND PAINT TOP - THIS WILL READ WITH THE EXISTING STYLE OF THE HOUSE (FACEBRICK GROUND FLOOR WITH A PLASTERED FIRST FLOOR AND GABLES) THE AWNING WAS CHOSEN TO HAVE A MIX OF SOLID SHEETING AND TRANSLUCENT SHEETING TO MIMIC THE VERTICAL LINES OF THE TUDOR STYLE AND BLEND IN WITH THE CURRENT ARCHITECTURE.

Expanded_Motivation:

DUE TO THE SAFTEY OF THE AREA AND PRIVACY ISSUES, THE CURRENT LOW BRICK WALL WITH WIRE FENCE ABOBE IS JUST NOT SUFFICIENT. THE OWNERS NEED TO SECURE THE FRONT ROAD FACING BOUNDARY AND THEY ALSO NEED PRIVACY ON THEIR FRONT YARD AS IT IS EXPOSED TO THE ROAD. THE AWNING IS NEEDED TO CREATE A COVERED PATIO AREA OVER THE EXISTING OPEN PATIO. THE AWNING WAS CHOSEN TO HAVE A MIX OF SOLID SHEETING AND TRANSLUCENT SHEETING TO MIMIC THE VERTICAL LINES OF THE TUDOR STYLE AND BLEND IN WITH THE CURRENT ARCHITECTURE.
