Virus on shared folders

Hi Nancy - please note there is a network share virus floating around. If you browse users' shared folders and enable hidden files (both system and normal hidden files) you will see certain folders have an auto .exe extension. These need to be removed and Panda scans/combofix/CC Cleaner would probably do the trick per PC. I think you probably need to disable network connections during the scanning to prevent reinfection immediately after the cleaning.

All the best
Nic

PS - for example go to \\HNAMA and look at her shared docs. You will see REGSVR.exe and folder names with exe - all are virus infections..
