Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred onĀ Monday the 30th of October 2023.

He will also fill out the necessary forms for Simphiwe (assetts).

Thank you for your efforts, I appreciate that, but please note, there is no way that I cannot have a printer. I have been told that, ECPHRA printer is not reliable therefore I do not want to see myself stuck if I have to use a printer.

Dear Nic,

Thank you for making yourself available to take a notebook and 3G to Nolitha tomorrow morning. I will have it ready for you by close of business today.

1. I will give you a copy of the movement register - for her to sign receipt of the equipment.

2. If you are able to talk to the ECPHRA and perhaps get Nolitha connected to their wifi or something more permanent, then that would
be better, and then the 3G can be returned.

3. Komi indicated that she will not need a printer, as her work will be on-line (SAHRIS) and email.

Thank you for collecting and offering to take the equipment through to Nolitha.

As requested, please ensure she signs the document, to confirm receipt of the laptop / charger / bag and 3G.

I hope you will manage to make a more acceptable internet solution available for her, as that 3G option is not going
to work long term.
