Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Create Shared Director for Information Technology

Dear Jenty,

As discussed yesterday, I've created a shared directory for IT.

You should be able to access it - if you have a problem let me know.

I've put the following information in this directory so far:

1. Corporate Affairs Budget 2012 2013 (approved budget)

2. Corporate Affairs Operational Plan 2012 2013 (approved operational plan)

3. IT Governance Project (contains the background information to the project)

4. Outcomes of IT Governance Project 2011 (contains all the outcomes done by the IT Governance consultants)

I will continue to populate this with as much information as possible, to enable you to develop a better understanding and background
the IT Unit activities, roles and responsibilities to date.
