Provide laptop and 3G to Nolitha for work at the ECPHRA

Dear Nancy

Thank you Nancy

Dear Mr. Sibayi,

Your email below refers.

I made a recommendation (see email below) on the 8th of November, suggesting that SAHRA supply Nolitha with a notebook
and 3G.  I was hoping to receive the go ahead before she left Cape Town,, so she could take the equipment with her.  Unfortunately there
was no response to my email.

I was subsequently informed that she had been instructed by Management to take "old" equipment from ECape.  However, based on your email below, I will now supply Nolitha with a notebook asap (I hope someone from SAHRA will be able to take it to her) and I will have to look for a spare 3G to allocate, if not, we will have to acquire a new one.

Thank you

Dear Nancy

As you know Nolitha has been deployed in the Eastern Cape and would thus need work tools. Amongst these will be a laptop and a 3G card to stay in touch with the Unit. I would thus request that, if these are available, she be provided with these tools.

Thanking you in advance.

Dear Komi,

As per our meeting earlier this morning, please note the following:

1.  I phoned Mr. Zote to ask him about the possibility of internet access for Nolitha in their office.

2.  Mr. Zote informed me that he understood that Nolitha would be provided with all the IT needs from SAHRA.

My recommendation is that, as Nolitha will need access to the internet (SAHRIS / EMAIL) to do her work, that:

1.  We supply her with a laptop;
2.  A 3G card

Nic will be visiting that office next week Thursday, then he will see if any other more permanent internet arrangement can be made
with the ECPHRA, but if not, then she can continue to use the 3G.

Please confirm if this is in order, as I will need to ensure that she is issued with this equipment asap, as she is leaving Cape Town tomorrow.

Thank you
Nancy

Comments

Nic took laptop to Nolitha.

She signed for it.

No 3G was required. She is hooked up with ECPHRA for internet/email access.
