Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Update Anti-virus (Panda) on Inventory Notebook

Notebook:  HP EliteBook 2530p s/n : CND 8431 SY7 - issued to National Inventory Unit was not updated with Panda, as instructed earlier in 2012.

This notebook is now being made available to the interim CEO:  M Ramagoshi (as she wanted a smaller one, than the new one IT made available to her).

Before handing over, the following needed to be checked:

1.  network login - done
2.  wifi connection - done
3.  3G connection - Komi giving hers to CEO.
4.  Uninstall Avast a/v - done
5.  Install Panda update and test - done
6.  Hand to MRamagoshi - sign for.
