Not so Urgent
Out of all the machines I assessed only two were free from viruses infections. The entire network is slow due to viruses. AVG picked up and quarantined quite a lot of grime whilst panda couldn't find anything. So we need to come up with a plan around replacing panda. Preferably opensource like clamwin,etc. We'll discuss the implementation further when we reopen.

Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Hi Jenty
Your comments are noted regarding changing Panda. In the interim, we have a large number of Panda licences which are expiring at the end of December, for which I was in the process of preparing a submission for renewal.
If you are intending to discontinue the use of Panda, what do you suggest I do with regards to new people joining during this financial year and (2) what do you suggest is used in the interim on the machines which are to expire soon ? Please advise.
