Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

ESS Access problem - Deidre

I have re-installed google chrome and she can be able to login now.

Tracey in HR reported the following on behalf of Deidre

The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://sahra_sql:85/ess

The following error was encountered:

Access Denied.
Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

 Have (a) checked ESS and can login (b) checked with HR if user access info is correct (c) Recommend user installs Google Chrome and retries.

Followed up with user today (Monday) Awaiting response.

Send Deidre email with instructions on how to install Google Chrome - and requested her to retry the ESS link and report back.

Ray reinstalled Google Chrome and retested login to ESS and it works.
