Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Conditions: 

The following conditions apply:

  1. The South African Heritage Resources Agency must be informed if the objects are not exported.
  2. The South African Heritage Resources Agency shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
  3. In accordance with the application received on 18 January 2013, should any appeal against the issuing of this permit be received by SAHRA within fourteen days of this permit, the permit will be suspended pending the outcome of the appeal.
  4. SAHRA will not be held liable for any losses incurred resulting from the suspension of the permit. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit upon notice to the permit holder.
