Conditions:
1. If the permit holder is not to be present on the site at all times then SAHRA must be provided with the names and qualifications of the authorised representatives.
2. SAHRA has no objection to the destruction of the sites on condition that:
• The engravings selected for rescue are removed and stored at the Interpretive Centre at the Mine, the Krugersdorp Museum and the Rock Art Research Institute (RARI) Wits, to the satisfaction of the archaeologist and SAHRA: NorthWest;
• The Interpretive Centre in the old mine clinic is established to the satisfaction of the same parties;
• A full accession catalogue of the engravings is located at the Rock Art Research Institute Wits, together with the drawings, tracings and slides;
• Copies of the accession catalogue and of the Management Plan for the specimens moved are sent to SAHRA by the 1 February 2006.
3. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to obtain permission from the landowner for each visit, and conditions of access imposed by the landowner must be observed.
4. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
5. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit by notice to the permit holder.
