Conditions:
1. An archaeologists must be on site to undertake inspections of the riverfront area (LWP2), where artefacts scatters occur.
2. A no-go bufferzone of 7-10m must be created around the graves sites (SWP2 and LWP2.S1) identified in the Impact Assessment. Should disturbance of these graves become imminent, the developer would have to apply for a permit to exhume and relocate the graves in terms of Section 36 of the National Heritage Resources Act (25 of 1999). The associated regulations and its requirements would also apply if exhumation were required.
3. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to fill in excavations and protect sites during and after excavation to the satisfaction of SAHRA and the landowner.
4. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
5. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit by notice to the permit holder.
