ProposalDescription:

* New double garage added to existing single garage. * New servants room and laundry added to lower ground floor. * Existing ancillary unit converted to servants room. Proposed Alterations and Additions to existing outbuildings on Sub 7 of Lot 2510, Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, eThekwini Municipality.

Expanded_Motivation:

These plans were drawn up and submitted in 2012. The owners then collected them from Town planning and presumed them to be approved. We advised that this could not be, but they insisted. The owners went ahead and built and were then informed by the building inspector that there were no approved plans. The proposal of additional garages is in keeping with the neighbourhood trend of garages along Newcombe Place, just off the verge, due to the steep nature of the site. The space below these garages is therefore conveniently situated for servants rooms and laundry.
