Permits

This permit is issued to Ms Solomon for the collection of 50 soil samples of about 1kg each from the archaeological Bokoni sites on Farms Klipspruit 89JT and Rietfontein 84JT.

Conditions

1. The positions for the collection of the soil samples must be decided with Dr Schoeman. 
2. The position of all soil samples collected must be marked on a site plan.
3. A report on the activities undertaken under this permit must be submitted to SAHRA by the end of May 2015. 
4. Reprints of all published papers or copies of theses and/or reports resulting from this work must be lodged with SAHRA.
5. If a published report has not appeared within three years of the lapsing of this permit, the report required in terms of the permit will be made available to researchers on request.
6. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to obtain permission from the landowner for each visit, and conditions of access imposed by the landowner must be observed.
7. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to leave the site after sampling to the satisfaction of the landowner.
8. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
9. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit by notice to the permit holder.
