Permits

1. The work is to be done under the supervision of the permit holder.
2. Earth movement operations are to be monitored by a contracted archaeologist.
3. If human remains or burials are encountered, work must cease until these have been assessed and processed to the satisfaction of SAHRA, HWC and the contracted archaeologist.
4. A report on the monitoring of earth movements leading to the destruction of shell middens on Portion 1, farm 1050, Paternoster, must be submitted to HWC by the contracted archaeologist on or before 1 June 2005.
5. Reprints of all published papers, or copies of theses or reports resulting from this work must be lodged with HWC.
6. HWC shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
7. HWC reserves the right to cancel this permit upon notice to the permit holder.
