This permit is issued to Dr David Morris, Prof. Fred Grine and Prof. Eske Willerslev for the temporary export of eight faunal teeth, one faunal mandible, four human teeth and one human mandible from the Pleistocene site of Equus Cave.

- The specimens must be clearly marked with their accession numbers.
- The material must be carefully packed and all packaging must be clearly marked with the accession numbers, the name of the site, and the name and address of the McGregor Museum and of the Lundbeck Foundation Centre for GeoGenetics at the Natural History Museum of the University of Copenhagen.
- The material must be hand carried or sent via a reputable professional courier service unless written instructions to the contrary have been received from the repository, the McGregor Museum. SAHRA understands that Prof. Grine will hand carry the samples to London in June/July 2014. The sampled will then be hand carried to Copenhagen.
- The material may not be loaned to any person or institution other than Prof. Eske Willerslev at the Lundbeck Foundation Centre for GeoGenetics at the Natural History Museum of the University of Copenhagen and Prof. Fred Grine without the consent of SAHRA.
- The material shall be returned to South Africa on or before the end of July 2015 at the expense of Prof. Grine or Prof. Willerslev.
- SAHRA must be notified in writing of the return of the material, and a report on the activities undertaken in terms of this permit must be lodged with SAHRA before the end of July 2015.
- Copies of all papers or publications resulting from this permit must be lodged with SAHRA.
- SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
- SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit by notice to the permit holders.
