Permits

This permit is issued to Ms Potze and Dr Pickering for the sampling of calcite from seven hominin fossils. 

Conditions:

1. All samples must be photographed before and after the sampling.
2. The sampling must be kept at a minimum. No unnecessary sampling should be undertaken on the specimens.  
3. A report on the activities undertaken under this permit must be submitted to SAHRA before the end of September 2015.
4. Reprints of all published papers or copies of theses and/or reports resulting from this work must be lodged with SAHRA.
5. If a published report has not appeared within three years of the lapsing of this permit, the report required in terms of the permit will be made available to researchers on request.
6. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
7. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit by notice to the permit holder.
