Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

SiteComments: 

The cemetery comprises a total of 11 graves, all of which have oval and rectangular stone packed dressings orientated along the east-west axis. The cemetery layout consists of two North-South rows with two graves located in the western row and the remaining nine graves in the eastern row. While a number of the graves have upright natural stones on their western ends only one grave was observed with a rectangular cement block. No inscription was found on this block. From the relative sizes of the stone packed dressings it would appear that the graves of four adults and seven children were buried here, but this can of course not be stated as fact
