Conditions:
1. Crew members on site during filming will be Paul Darter (Producer), Beth Read (Producer), Chris Purcell (Director/DOP), Ian Utermohlen (SA Tourism Head of Marketing), Isabel Mueller (National Geographic Channel Account Manager), Billy Rich (Cameraman), Siseko Yeki (Camera Assistant), Ed Suter (Stills Cameraman), 2 drivers and Prof. Lee Berger.
2. Monitoring and supervision will be done by Lindsey Smith (Assistant Director, Management Authority, Cradle of Humankind).
3. Filming will take place at Malapa, Gladysvale, Rising Star and Sterkfontein Caves.
4. Filming equipment consists of Sony F3 Camera, Olympus 50mm f 1.4 lens, Tokina 11-16mm lens, Atomos Samurai Recorder, Blackmagic Pocket Camera, Lumix G 12-35 lens, Rhode mic & Grip, Canon L Series 35-70 IS lens, Canon L Series 16-35 IS lens, Nikkor 300mm, Canon L Series 70-200 IS lens, Canon L Series 24-70 IS lens, Canon 100mm macro, G2 Defy Gimbal System, Small HD monitor, Batteries, Memory Cards, IKAN LED Monitor, Chimera Light, DLH4 Dedo Light, Zoom H4N Audio Recorder, Headphones & Cables, Photoflex Lighting Stand, Tripod, Sachtler DV6 Head, Manfrotto 244 Magic Arm & Superclamp, Manfrotto Superclamp, Dedo Lightweight Light stand, Genus Matte Box.
5. Filming will take place for the duration of 26 to 28 October 2016.
6. The amount of traffic, i.e. numbers of people on site, should be minimised as much as possible to avoid excessive disturbance of the site.
7. Copies of the filming resulting from this work must be lodged with SAHRA on or before the 31 October 2017.
8. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
9. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit upon notice to the permit holder.
