Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Conditions: 

Thank you for notifying SAHRA about the proposed additions and alterations to a dwelling house on Erf 164 Ida's Valley. The house is located on Portion 4 of Erf 164 as per the building plans. It is noted that Ida's Valley is a Grade 1 heritage resource and a Declared National Heritage Site.

Final Decision

SAHRA has no objection to the proposed additions and alterations to the dwelling house on Portion 4 of Erf 164 as per the building plans.

A closeout report must be uploaded onto SAHRIS upon completion of the project with photographs of the completed works.
