Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Thank you for notifying SAHRA about the proposed Mural Painting on two heritage walls at The Constitution Hill. It is noted that The Constitution Hill is a Grade I heritage resource and a Declared National Heritage Site.

The following documents were reviewed:

-Map of proposed walls

-Image of wall were Murals will be painted

SAHRA has no objection to the proposed Mural Paintings. A close out report must be uploaded to the case on SAHRIS upon completion of the project with photographs of the completed Mural Paintings.
