Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: 3 bay house with central covered gable and fine verandah. Abuts 126. Saddle roof with covered triangular front gable with fretwork, bargeboarding, finialand semi-circular vent. Wall has eyebrow mouldings and fluted pilasters at door. Verandah with hipped ogee verandah with fretwork fringes, vertical supports, gates and railing. 3 x 3 panel double door with decorative fanlight. Loft door in end gable. 6x6 sashes with louvred shutters.
Colours: Black roofs and white and green woodwork
