Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: Double storey villa with wing on right side and double storey verandah in wood. High hipped roof with covered wing gable with fretwork bargeboarding finial and cross vent. Plastered walls are rusticated with quoins. 2 storey wooden verandah with fretwork fringes, supports and railing on both floors. 2 x 2 double door (upper panels arched) with plain fanlight. Wing has a bay with 2 x 2 sashes and louvred shutters. Small garden between house and street. Wall and railing same as 55.
Colours: White and dark green woodwork.
