Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

History: The first transfer of the property was from G L E Henifer to Petrus Joubert on 20 March
Visual Description: "Een geschenk aan den Ned Geref Kerkraad, voor de Zending Gemeente Colesberg, van den wel ed Heer P J Joubert en Echenote. 1906." "J Coetzee, Bouwmeester en Contractant"
Single storeyd with hipped roof. Double pitched roof with decorative fretwork on gable ends of projecting wings. Circular louvered ventilators in end bay.
Symmetrical semi-detached houses on stone plinth. Two-bay facades with projecting wings. Right hand projecting wing forms stoepkamer.
Elaborately detailed wooden verandah with elaborate turned post drops and profiled hand rail and St. Andrews Cross ............ balustrade.
High stone stoep with fretwork railings. Ogee verandah on plastered dividing wall and timber supports. Symmetrically placed curved entrance stair on either side of dividing wall.
2x2 double sliding sash windows with louvered shutters.
Original 6-panelled doors with single pane fanlight.
Excellent condition. Original appearance.
