Permits

1. Crew members on site during filming will be Wandrille Lanos (Reporter), Philippe Maire (Cameraman) and Cedric Baume (Soundman).

2. Monitoring and supervision at Sterkfontein Caves NHS and Soetwater will be done by Dr. D. Stratford and at Swartkrans NHS by that Dr. M. Caruana.

3. Filming will take place in the Sterkfontein Caves, Soetwater and at Swartkrans National Heritage Site.

4. Filming equipment consists of a drone, cameras and associated equipment, photo camera and associated equipment, monopod, tripod, light panels, sound equipment.

5. Filming will take place for the duration of 26 March to 1 April 2018.

6. The amount of traffic, i.e. numbers of people on site, should be minimised as much as possible to avoid excessive disturbance of the site.

7. A report on activities related to the permit must be submitted to SAHRA on or before the 30 April 2018. SAHRA reserves the right to withhold further permits if a report is not received or is not satisfactory.

8. Copies of the filming resulting from this work must be lodged with SAHRA on or before the 30 April 2019.

9. SAHRA acknowledges the submitted landowner permission to film at the Sterkfontein Caves and Swartkrans.

10. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.

11. All necessary permits for the use of drones must be obtained prior to filming.

12. This permit is subject to a general appeal and may be suspended should an appeal against the decisions be received by SAHRA within 14 days from the date of the permit. SAHRA may not be held responsible for any costs or losses incurred in the event of the suspension or retraction of this permit.

13. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit upon notice to the permit holder.
