Permits

1. Crew members on site during filming will be members of Circle the Globe Productions/Ping Pong Productions Lisa Lumar, Jack Walworth, Brittany Graham, Emmanuel Martinez, Thomas Quinn, Josh Gates, Brian Weed, Evan Stone, Michael Curtis, Aidan Bradbury-Aranda, Matthew Krueger.

2. Monitoring and supervision will be done by Dominic Stratford (University of the Witwatersrand).

3. Filming will take place in the Sterkfontein Caves.

4. Filming equipment consists of Sony FS7 mkii body, Denecke Lockit Timecode Receiver, Aladdin Eye light on board, Sony On-Board Shot Gun Mic, Zacuto VCT Pro Baseplate, Canon cine 18-80 lens, Core Hypercore Mini 9, Sony FS7 Extension Unit, among others.

5. Filming will take place for the duration of 2 days between 1 – 15 June 2019.

6. The amount of traffic, i.e. numbers of people on site, should be minimised as much as possible to avoid excessive disturbance of the site.

7. A report on activities related to the permit must be submitted to SAHRA on or before the 31 July 2019. SAHRA reserves the right to withhold further permits if a report is not received or is not satisfactory.

8. Copies of the filming resulting from this work must be lodged with SAHRA on or before the 31 July 2020.

9. SAHRA acknowledges the submitted landowner permission to film at the Sterkfontein Caves.

10. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.

11. This permit is subject to a general appeal and may be suspended should an appeal against the decisions be received by SAHRA within 14 days from the date of the permit. SAHRA may not be held responsible for any costs or losses incurred in the event of the suspension or retraction of this permit.

12. SAHRA reserves the right to cancel this permit upon notice to the permit holder.
