Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

PROPOSED PROSPECTING RIGHT APPLICATION FOR COAL RESOURCES ON PORTIONS 1, 3, 4, 5 AND 6 OF THE FARM OUTFALL 2414 GT, SITUATED IN THE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT OF DUNDEE, KWAZULU-NATAL PROVINCE. The project will involve the drilling of an estimated 10 boreholes one at a time. The boreholes will each be rehabilitated soon after drilling. The proposed project area is located approximately 17.25 km south-east of Dundee Town, approximately 21.09 km south-east of Glencoe and approximately 6.36 km north-west of Paddafontein.

PROSPECTING RIGHT APPLICATION FOR COAL RESOURCES ON PORTIONS 1, 3, 4, 5 AND 6 OF THE FARM OUTFALL 2414 GT, SITUATED IN THE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT OF DUNDEE, KWAZULU-NATAL PROVINCE. The proposed project area as seen in figure 1, 2 and 3 below, is on portion 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the farm Outfall 2414 GT situated under Endumeni Local Municipality which falls within the jurisdiction of the Magisterial District of Dundee under Umzinyathi District Municipality, in KwaZulu-Natal province. The proposed prospecting project area is situated approximately 17.21 km South-East of Dundee Town, 17.33 km East of Wasbank and 6.26 km North-West of Paddafontein. The proposed project area can be accessed using the R33 provincial route linking Dundee to Greytown. The R33 connects to D103 approximately 20km from Dundee towards Greytown. The Project area can be accessed within approximately 0.8km on the route D103.
