Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

SiteComments: 

Old L-shaped thatched cottage with plain end gables and a bakoond with a high chimney. The windows are big 6 x 6
sashes and the door is of stable-type. There is a pergola, To the left is an outhouse which, however, has a modern extension with a lean-to roof. The old out-house has a hipped thatched roof, The cottage in 18 Smith Street probably also belongs to this
