Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Main farm house, Victorian/vernacular combo, tin roof pitched in middle with lean-tos on sides and back, (slightly) more recent wall and steps at front stoep, 2 stoep kamers, 2 rooms each side and 1 central room with Victorian fireplace intact, kitchen out back on left side with full width hearth across rear wall, small courtyard at back, stone terrace & gum tree behind house, small ruined dry-packed stone outbuilding behind house. Width at back 9m, front slightly wider due to stoep kamers, kitchen 4m deep, 2 rooms 3m deep each, stoep kamer 4 m deep. Room into attic above rear courtyard.
