Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Directions: 

From Josephine mill museum head west on boundary Rd then you will get to the place.

SiteComments: 

It's a water mill with a house on it plus some few leaves which is symbolized in English and Afrikaans. It's located inside the the restaurant which called La Cuccina which is a nice environment.

Inscriptions: This monuments commemorates the Josephine mill which was build in 1818 by Johan Frederic Dreyer.
