Permits

This permit is issued to Rodney Knight (Film Fixers (Pty) Ltd) to produce a 90 minutes documentary film which includes the Sterkfontein Caves National Heritage Site for Australia's Channel 9 as part of local tourism promotion in Australia.

1.Crew members on site during filming will be Mike Richardson (Location Manager), and a crew of about 15 members.

2. Monitoring and supervision will be done by Lucas Sekowe (Technician, Sterkfontein Caves NHS) and he will be assisted by Lindiwe and Norman (Tour Guides, Sterkfontein Caves NHS).

3. Filming will take place in the in and around the Sterkfontein Caves.

4. Filming equipment consists of 3 Cameras and sound equioment between hubs.

5. Filming will take place from 08:00 to 14:30 on September 1^st, 2022.

6. The amount of traffic, i.e. numbers of people on site, should be minimised as much as possible to avoid excessive disturbance of the site.

7. A report on activities related to the permit must be submitted to SAHRA on or before the 31 March 2022. SAHRA reserves the right to withhold further permits if a report is not received or is not satisfactory.

8. Copies of the filming resulting from this work must be lodged with SAHRA on or before the 31 March 2022.

9. SAHRA acknowledges the submitted landowner permission to film at the Sterkfontein caves.

10. SAHRA shall not be liable for any losses, damages or injuries to persons or properties as a result of any activities in connection with this permit.
