ProposalDescription:

Unauthorised Additions and Alterations to Portion 5 (Of1) of Erf 712, 62 Highlands Road, Durban North, Ethekwini, KwaZulu-Natal, Drawing No., 100, 102, 201, 202, G01

Expanded_Motivation:

Client did multiple changes over their 20 years of living in the house. They never got plan approval for any of these changes they made. With them retiring and downsizing they have put their house on the market and would like all the changes made to be approved. With the house being over 60 years we would require AMAFA approval. The owner owns his own timber company and he use to store materials on site. He built awnings to protect these materials as well as an additional store room. He also built his own timber decking around the pool and at the entrance to try modernize the house. They also loved being outdoors and built a thatched lapa to create more covered area outside for them to relax. A study extension to the existing house was also made.
