Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

A postal stone with two inscriptions, one on the face side, the other on the reverse side. The inscriptions are Dutch and French respectively.

Inscriptions: 

One side has a Dutch engraved inscription: 1634 BANDA WASSENAER EN D[E] EGMONT SYN DEN XI APRIL VERTROCKE SOECKT BRIEF. The reverse side has a French inscription: ICY EST ARIVE DAVID DIGAED DE DIEPPE 8 JO[UR] DE FEV[R]IER 1...[640]
