A cattle enclosure was recorded near the foothill of the mountain near the edge of South Open Cast. From experience in the area, the enclosure belongs to Marateng groups. However, due to the wide areas settled by the Masha tribe, over an extensive period in the past, it may well belong to them. It is difficult to say with certainty as no ceramics could be located due to the dense vegetation. The area was located by distinct changes in type of grass growing in the immediate vicinity of the enclosure. (SIA 2).
